About

As owner and instructor at Next Level Swings, I bring years of playing, coaching, and player-development experience. I played collegiate baseball and have continued to develop my knowledge of the game through years of coaching and working with players of all ages and skill levels. I have coaching experience at the Little League, middle school, and high school levels, which has given me the opportunity to work with players as they develop from beginners into more advanced athletes. My goal is to teach the fundamentals of the game while helping each player build confidence, athleticism, and a strong understanding of how to compete. As a hitting instructor, I focus on developing a simple, repeatable swing while teaching players how to practice with purpose and approach each at-bat with confidence. I believe instruction should be individualized to the player, so I tailor each lesson to their age, experience, goals, and current skill level.

I help baseball players develop the skills, routines, and mindset needed to compete at the next level. After a 14-year professional playing career as a catcher, time in the Major Leagues, and experience managing at the Triple-A level, I bring a pro-style approach to player development. My coaching focuses on practical, game-ready improvement: swing decisions, hitting approach, catching and defensive fundamentals, preparation, routines, leadership, and baseball IQ. I work best with serious high school, college, and advanced youth players who want honest feedback, clear direction, and a plan they can execute between sessions. Whether your goal is to earn a bigger role, prepare for college baseball, clean up your swing, improve behind the plate, or understand the game at a deeper level, I’ll help you simplify the work and build habits that translate to competition.
